Product Description An all-weather moderate stability trainer, the New Balance women's WR768 Running Shoe features a TS2 multi-density medial support that stabilizes the foot and insures against pronation. Providing a smooth transition from heel strike to toe off, an ACTEVA midsole, which is 12% lighter than standard foam, combines with ABZORB in the heel and forefoot, to provide a responsive and cushioned ride. A seamless Phantom Liner is enveloped in weather protecting and breathable Bioshield to keep the foot dry in adverse conditions, while a blown rubber outsole is enhanced with Ndurance rubber compound at the crash pad and edges for maximum durability in high wear areas

Love these shoes October 31, 2008 L. Peppler (Pittsburgh, PA, USA) I love these shoes. I just got them and haven't worn them a lot, but so far they are the most comfortable "tennis" shoes I've had in a long time. I am using them as regular every day walking/hiking shoes and don't intend to run a marathon or anything, but I am getting ready to walk an American Cancer Society 5K with my mom in a couple weeks and wanted good comfy shoes. I do know foot doctors/specialists don't recommend you wear running shoes for regular walking, but I was having SO much trouble finding a really good pair of walkers, and another mom recommended these. I have wide feet and their fit is perfect. (I did order the wide size.) One of their best features is that the seams are very cleanly done inside the shoe. It's terrible when you get a pair of relatively comfy shoes, but they have all these seams and edges right on pressure points like little toes/big toes that are constantly pushing on the inside of the shoe. These don't do that to my feet anyway. For me, these shoes were a BIG splurge, 3 times what I would normally spend on my own shoes, but I am trying to get out there and walk every day, and when your shoes make your feet hurt it is harder to get motivated. These make my feet feel really good...So now I guess I have NO excuses do I...better get them on and go for a walk right now!!
Very good, **IF** October 10, 2008 Q 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This can be a very good running shoe **IF** you pronate. There's a support on the inside of the shoe to help prevent this (and thus resulting problems). However if you do not (I don't), it can be quite uncomfortable.
Easy/cheat way to check - look at the soles of shoes you wear regularly. If they're worn to the insides (big toe side), then this might be the shoe for you. HTH someone!
Pleased for my daughter... July 7, 2008 Robert L. Beehner 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
The shoes came just fine. (She has been wearing the same ones for a while...so nothing new.)
